DECEMBER 2016 CHAPTERGRAM

Hello Minnesota Chapter Members,

This my last “President’s Message” to you all. It has been an honor and privilege to serve as your 2016 Chapter President. The Chapter has excellent leadership and the future for the Chapter looks extremely bright. I want to thank each of you for your support in 2016.  I look forward to continued Chapter involvement into 2017. 

Speaking of support, the Chapter has a program to help CPCU members and active candidates to offset the cost of dues and certain educational expenses that may not be covered by their employer.  This program allows for expenses of up to $350.00 per person per fiscal year (January to December) to be reimbursed to the individuals who cannot afford to incur the expense of joining or participating in the chapter. Eligible expenses are as follows:

• Annual national and chapter dues
• Minnesota All Industry Day registration
• CPCU educational expenses, including books and exam fees

The Chapter has a committee of officers and board members that will review any and all submitted applications to accept or reject them.  If you would like to apply please contact the Chapter at mncpcusociety@gmail.com and an application will be forwarded to you.

2017 Membership renewals were mailed at the end of October to current members and new designees.  Join by renewing on-line or returning your membership payment by mail.  Initial deadline is January 31, 2017, but renew before December 31, 2016 to include the professional fees as part of your professional expenses.
