Dear Minnesota CPCU Society Chapter Members,
It is a great time of the year. Spring is upon us. There are a number of sports tournaments happening and things in the Chapter are going great. I really want to thank all of Chapter members who that take their time to volunteer to help the Chapter. They are doing a great job.
This year as a Chapter, we continue to focus on bringing you quality programing and networking opportunities. Countless hours of work and dedication go into organizing and running these events. It is great to have a group of people that have a desire to give back to their profession and community. I am thankful for these great people and the good work that they do.
A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to go to a Twin Cities high school and to talk to a “Careers” class about working in insurance. This was an excellent opportunity to ask a future generation to stop and consider a career in insurance. At the end of my time with the 30-students I hope I was able to show them that insurance can offer a career for those of varying interests. I feel fortunate to work in a great segment of our society. If you ever have the opportunity to talk to people about what an insurance career can offer, I would encourage you do so.
