2007-2008 Circle of Excellence — Gold

The Minnesota Chapter CPCU Society earned the Gold Circle of Excellence Award for 2008 - 2009!

Thanks for visiting the Minnesota Chapter web site.

President's Message from the March 2010 Chaptergram:

Congratulations to Brian Bent - winner of the free lunch for being the first respondent on the experiment last month! I had a number of folks respond that morning, and enjoyed sending out some "George Washingtons." Several folks said they didn't want the dollar, but responded anyway. Do me a final favor, and if you saw that offer but didn't take the time to respond last time - please send me a quick note (mike.happe@sfmic.com).

We have number of strong meetings lined up locally for the next couple of months, and the National CPCU Society has announced that the registration fee will be waived for folks that would not otherwise attend the National Leadership Summit (NLS) in Phoenix this April! Paul Zerby will be spearheading an effort to contact lost or lapsed chapter members, so if you get this newsletter but haven't renewed your membership, please give us a call. And remember the chapter has a relatively new "Member/Candidate Support Program" to pay for annual dues and/or exam fees for members who are either unemployed or whose employers do not cover the costs of an active CPCU membership!

And on a related note, did you know that the CPCU Society has resources to help our colleagues when seeking new employment opportunities? Check this out (or push it to a friend): http://www.cpcusociety.org/page/49491/index.v3page. Let me know what you think - we're always looking for ways locally to do more to help people move ahead in our industry!
